Please join us for a special evening with renowned graphic designer Chip Kidd and bestselling novelist RJ Palacio to celebrate the paperback launch of Go: A Kidd’s Guide to Graphic Design!

At the time of its publication in 2013, Chip dedicated this book to his editor, Palacio. It has been hailed as “an engaging introduction to a critical feature of our modern, design-rich environment” (KIRKUS) and “a thing of beauty” (PEOPLE). Ten years later, the designers reunite to talk about how this unique classic, which remains one of the few resources in the graphic design space for kids, has continued to transcend generations.

Now available in paperback, Chip—who created the iconic cover of Michael Crichton’s Jurassic Park, among other classics—explains the core principles of graphic design concepts and contextualizes these elements through full-page visuals of book covers, advertisements, vintage posters, and photographs. Go is all about shaking things up— kids (and adults!) love its playful spirit and belief that the world looks better when you look at it differently.
