SHIPPING AND RETURNS POLICY

Please review the following choices carefully, refunds and returns can only be processed when eligible items are returned using the appropriate method. We regret that we cannot issue a refund for items that are returned to the store after the timeframe indicated below. Customers will then have the option of having the books that fall into this category returned to them at their own expense.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a refund. We will issue a refund for the purchase price of the item plus any applicable taxes to your original form of payment for items returned within 14 days from the date of delivery. All returned items must be in their original condition; shrink-wrapped products must be unopened. Shipping fees cannot be not refunded. 

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

The packing slip in your shipment has specific instructions for returns.  A pre-printed return label with our Returns Department Address comes with your packing slip. Please cut this out and attach it to the front of your box.  Please Note: Your packing slip is not a prepaid label. You will be required to pay for return shipping. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

If your packing slip is unavailable, please print out the Shipping Confirmation email you received after the item(s) shipped. Include that printout in the box, and write your Order Number on the outside of the box. Returns should be sent to:

This policy applies to the following item types:

• Books
• CDs/DVDs
• Calendars
• Stationery
• Tote Bags
• Puzzles

You can also bring the item and your packing slip or Shipping Confirmation e-mail to Rizzoli Bookstore.  If your packing slip or Shipping Confirmation e-mail are unavailable, the original form of payment must be presented.


DELIVERY EXPECTATIONS

We do our best to estimate delivery dates for your purchase.

The estimated date of delivery of your rizzolibookstore.com order and the cost of shipping depends on which Delivery Speed you select during Checkout, which factors in item availability, processing time, and transit time. Shipping times shown on rizzolibookstore.com reflect how long the shipment will take to arrive after it has left the warehouse/shipping facility.

Please note: You may receive your items on different days and in multiple boxes. When your items ship, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information you can use to track them online.

 Delivery estimates for packages being sent to non-contiguous US Locations are:

FedEx Ground Economy (1-7 Business Day)
FedEx Overnight
FedEx 2Day
FedEx Express Saver (2-3 Business Days)

 Business Days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays observed by the Post Office and UPS, such as New Year's Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Although we try our best to ship your order out right away, delivery dates are not guaranteed. If all or part of your order is not available for immediate shipping, you will receive an email notifying you of a delay. For orders containing multiple items, all available items will ship immediately. The rest of your order will be shipped to you as the books become available.  You will not be charged extra for multiple shipments. 

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Please note: Based on the ongoing developments surrounding COVID-19, we have reinstated international shipping from the U.S. to most countries. Orders to countries with stringent or evolving policies may experience delays, but we are working to deliver your order as quickly as possible. Please refer to the Fedex Countries Served page for an up to date list of countries that we can and cannot ship to:

 There is no set rate for orders shipping internationally. To see the shipping fees for an order shipping internationally, create the order and begin the Checkout process.  You will receive a shipping quote before the order is finalized.

*Please also be aware that customs and fees are not included in the shipping charges.  It is the customer’s responsibility to cover any of these additional costs as they may occur.


DAMAGED ITEM POLICY

If you receive an item that is damaged or misprinted you may return the book for an exchange or refund. In this case, please contact us at weborders@rizzoliusa.com to let us know the issue and how you would like us to handle the return.  Replace with web order email.

 

IN STORE PICK UP

Customers who live in New York can select the in store pick up at the time of their order.  If you have selected this option, we will email you to let you know when your order has been filled and is ready for pick up.

 

GIFT CARDS

You can select digital or physical gift card, please review it at this link

PRE ORDERS

Pre-orders allow you to place an order for an item before it has been released by the PUBLISHER.

Pre-ordered books will be charged at the time the order is placed and will be shipped as they become available.  If for any reason a preordered book is canceled by the publisher, customers will be notified and refunded for the order.

The PUBLISHER is responsible for determining the release date of the item and has the authority to change the release date. If a release date is changed, that new release date will be reflected on rizzolibookstore.com once Rizzoli Bookstore is notified.
