Faces explores the timeless art of portraiture as both an act of looking outward and a journey inward. Bringing together works across painting, illustration, and mixed media, the book invites readers to reflect on what our faces reveal -- and conceal -- about our identities, emotions, and lived experiences.

Structured into two parts, it first considers the portrait as a way of perceiving others, then examines the self-portrait as an intimate conversation between artist and self. Through raw emotions, confessions, and reinterpretations of form, Faces shows how artists continue to challenge the boundaries of representation, asking us not only who we see, but also how we see.
