Rizzoli Music Aperitivo: Tobias Meinhart (TICKETED)

Saxophonist and composer Tobias Meinhart brings his latest album, Sonic River, to the intimate and literary setting of Rizzoli Bookstore. Inspired by the rhythm of words and the fluidity of storytelling, Sonic River draws from the works of great writers and poets—translating their essence into sound.

With a band featuring some of today’s leading jazz voices (Charles Altura, guitar / Rick Rosato, bass / Mark Whitfield, Jr - drums / and special guest: Sara Serpa, vocals), Meinhart explores the connection between literature and improvisation, weaving narratives through melody and rhythm. Just as a novel unfolds with unexpected turns, his music flows freely, shaped by deep lyricism and spontaneous interplay.
