The School of Life Presents How to Survive the Modern World

MONDAY, JUNE 6 AT 6 PM A night of conversation to celebrate the launch of How to Survive the Modern World, a hopeful guide to living well in the 21st century.REGISTER HEREGuests over the age of five must wear masks and show proof of vaccination (either a vaccine card or an Excelsior Pass). Join The School of Life at Rizzoli for a unique and fascinating evening of conversation to celebrate the US launch of their title, How to Survive the Modern World, on June 6 at 6 pm. Many of us long to have great conversations: ones where we can discuss ideas, experiences and hopes for a better world with like-minded, interesting people we may never have met before. Sadly, such conversations seem to come about all too rarely. That’s why The School of Life hosts conversation evenings: occasions for the best kinds of conversation and connection. Following an introduction from our faculty, you’ll be broken up into smaller groups to discuss and reflect on the topic of "How to Survive the Modern World." We’ll then invite you to form new circles and discuss different topics, giving you the chance to meet a wide variety of people and cover some of life’s most important themes along the way. Heart-warming and engaging, this event will help us identify the sources of our anxieties and sorrows in the modern world. It will help us understand how we got to where we are, digging deeply and fascinatingly into the history of ideas and pointing us towards a saner individual and collective future.About The School of Life The School of Life is a global organisation helping people lead more fulfilled lives.
